FINALLY HERE!

Its been a long wait and I lost faith more than a few times, but it looks like I get to pick the bike tomorrow!!!!!

First Trackday

July 1st and 2nd I had the fortune of attending my first trackday(s). I attended Fishtail Riding School and it was everything I was hoping for; good amount of track time, great instructors and impressive teacher:student ratio. Both sessions were 2 students to 1 instructor and it provided excellent feedback.

I wasn't as nervous about riding on the track as I was about getting the bike to the track properly prepped and undamaged from the transport. Turns out prepping the bike wasn't nearly as difficult as I had feared. A little bit of tape and couple of pulled connectors and I was good to go. I'll probably wear leathers for my next trip, and I'll look into sliders for the 675 as well. I don't want to pitch the bike, but I can see how it happens.

Going to keep this strictly about motorcycles: ride reports, thoughts on bikes, and trackday musings. We'll see if I can do anything interesting with this space.
